I did this story before...I guess it should change... College Graduate BYU, Once a Mormon only through High School. Never really believed it, but it got me out of the house and to college. Once at BYU, I knew it was not for me....Especially the part about being your neighbor's snitch! Oh also, the Joseph Smith guy....not a Prophet..Maybe a good con in his day. I have lived in San Jose in 1970....where I did a miserable job at working in an office...I talk too much! I finished at BYU with a Degree in Social Work in 1975...Then went back to South Lake Tahoe where I built a house and was a Black Jack Dealer at Sahara Tahoe. I hated that job eventually. I talk too much. In 1980 I moved to Los Gatos and opened a Womens Boutique, TK Foxx. We specialized in Petites. I grew all the way to 5'1 1/2". In 1982 I followed my "love" to the "ends of the Earth...Eagle River, AK (next stop Wasilla...where the "infamous" Sara Palin is from) Lived in a log cabin with Tom for 9 months...Then left that place for the big city of Anchorage. Met my daughter's father, David, an Attorney in Anchorage. Left Anchorage 5 months pregnant with my daughter Amanda, and my old dog Samson. Amanda was born in Santa Cruz, CA. I was 35. We lived a block from the beach, and a stroll down to Capitola Village. Loved it! But I wanted to buy a house, so we moved to Portland, (Beaverton), Oregon in 1990. She is now 25. I gave her away at her wedding Sept 12, 2009 in Lake Oswego, Oregon. She has now graduated from Portland, State, and is a Junior at Pacific University School of Dental Hygiene.
